He usually paints nothing but landscapes with the wet on wet technique.
This is what my grandpa used to paint nothing but landscapes.
I will need to take some pictures of his painting so you all can see them. I wish my Grandpa was alive to see this next painting I have made. I miss him.
so here it is hope you enjoy it:
14" x 18" Canvas Board
Lesson learned
- Wow have fun with it there are no mistakes when you paint.
- The one criticism i have about this painting is that my signature stands out too much for this peaceful painting. I used black on all 4 paintings if you look and i wrote in bold JAY. This kinda throws off the painting and is distracting. I will work on a diff. signature and color.
As I was painting it was like I was in the zone. I am not sure how to explain the feeling just i guess having a good time, inspired and felt good. I took a step back when I finished and was like wow, did I do that? cool this was fun and easy.
I am proud of this painting and want to say and encourage anyone to try this. Anyone can do this. I mean c'mon if i could do it in 2 weeks then I am sure anyone can do it with some practice. Landscapes seem easy to me. I think I had more trouble trying to paint that dang Hibiscus flower haha.
