I know this is a blog for my paintings but I will use it today for a place to Vent a little.
Well last week on Friday Dec. 27, 2007 My uncle passed away :(
Tomorrow 12-28-07 is his funeral. This is the second family member in the last 3 months who has died.
This has been a very draining couple of months and I do believe that these 2 deaths have taken a toll on me emotionally. For Christmas even, it was just not so cheerful for me. I mean on the outside I was smiling and talking but inside I just wanted to crawl in bed and sleep for days.
I am sure I will get over this feeling inside and continue painting here shortly.

Hi Jay, Checked out your blog. So sorry to hear of your losses. I can relate, I lost my mother three years ago at Christmas time and Christmas will never be the same. Keep painting, it's good for the soul. I'll check back, stop by my blog and check it out too. Your last flower painting looks great. Take care, Barb
