Pursuing my passion for painting

Well this is my blog where i will be uploading all my oil paintings.

Let me start by first saying I have always wanted to oil paint since the first time I saw my Grandpa Joe oil paint.
I never really pursued this passion because in life it seems like there is just never enough time.
My Grandpa passed away on Sept. 13 2007 .
I never had the opportunity to paint along side him and for this reason I am deeply saddened.

I had the opportunity to gain all the wisdom, knowledge and technique that my Grandpa had to offer but I was too busy in life.

Now at the age of; well that doesn't matter but I am beginning to explore my passion for painting.

I received a painting Easel for my b-day on Nov. 22, 2007 which was a real surprise. I had been wanting this type of easel for a couple of years now...

I also received some drawing supplies to further my drawing skills in the art of sketching.

So if you are here looking at my new passion then feel free to comment and say hopefully something positive. I will post pics and a description of what how and why I painted something.
